News:
8/14/08: Wow, it's been a while since posting any news! Yeah, comic updates haven't been steady for a while. #73 is finished and queued up for friday, not posted up yet to give me some time to work on #74. I may even have time to work on the Links and Cast pages that are in need of some updating!
ASP is technically over a year old now. Not too long ago, I looked at some crazy old stuff from before the comic even had a name or plot; the very first sketch? July 19 2007, woo! Also, looking back, it really became apparent just how far ASP has come already. Ah, way back in the days that a comic only took 4-6 hours to complete as opposed to the current 10-12 :-P . As for a birthday celebration... I'mma wait on those and use the anniversary of the first strip.
Reminiscing over! My schedule this summer basically results in me not coming home until about 9:30 every night (blah). Even with the lack of drawing time, I wanna work on a few things. In no particular order...
- The comic (naturally)
- Links page: Less text-heavy, revise all links, somehow make worth actually checking out, making ASP link banners for others
- Cast page: Use newer artwork, start including minor characters
- Welcome banner: Use newer artwork, have a "random" surprise for readers ;-)
- Give cookies to those who actually read this whole entry.

7/04/08: Happy 4th o' July! Now in case anyone's been wondering what's been going on with the sudden cease in updates, here's the scoop. Over the last couple weeks, I've immersed myself in a personal project. Basically, I'm building something, a massive something, of which I have zero prior experience. Hmm, why buy something professionally made when you can take several weeks to poorly do it yourself?! I know, ASP hasn't updated in too long. I haven't lost interest in the comic, in fact just the opposite; I'm itching to get back to it. I'm aiming to have it done and get back to playing catch-up by my birthday, July 9th... it's my little gift to me! 'Till then, I shall work on that and see how much of a buffer I can get up.
6/07/08: Okay, lotsa stuff to say so bear with me!
- Yes, the comic is running later than I'd expected. But as always, I absolutely refuse to miss an update altogether, so all pages shall be accounted for. Any late ones will go up the moment I finish them, and will be posted as their planned dates (I do this to make archiving and searching easier for myself and you).
- Looking through June's stats, I noticed a certain webpage with a good number of hits to ASP. It appears someone likes my comic enough to add an entry for it at Belfry Webcomics a couple days ago. Even more to my surprise, there seems to be a small collection of subscribers already! To all it may concern: thank you so much, it means alot to see that people enjoy ASP, even with it being so young.
- If you've been to the Links page recently, we have a new entry (Reject-Reality) in a new section (Friends). They've just started up, but show a ton of promise. Their goal: Entertainment. Hah, cheesy... or witty. Cheese-wit... Mmm. Anyway, I'm going to be picky, but someday, I shall have powerful comic friends. Who will be laughing then?! Well, hopefully you.
- I'll have to put the extra stuff on the backburner while I catch up on the comic itself... y'know, focus on the reason you're even here. Ah suspense, just who is our mystery guest? Are Jessica's suspicions ill-founded? Will Nina ever stop being adorable? We shall see.
5/17/08: Every day for the next week shall offer something! Yep. Check the fillers each day to see a step-by-step look at what goes into making an ASP comic ("an ASP"... is that redundant?).
